Wholesale Buyers – For chefs, caterers, grocers, and other food service professionals: Fair Food is available for one-on-one consultation to connect you with the farmers and producers who can best suit your business needs.

Farms throughout the Delaware Valley region are supplying an incredible variety of fresh, healthy, and sustainably-grown vegetables and fruit to the wholesale market. Many growers focus in specialty products for restaurants, while others concentrate on traditional crops for retail and institutional food service.
Grassfed and pasture-raised meat, poultry, eggs and dairy are all available from local farmers and producers. We only support livestock farmers that use natural and humane farming practices, and work with many who are raising heritage breed animals.

Farmers and Food Producers: Fair Food is available for one-on-one consultation to help you meet the demands of the wholesale marketplace, and connect you with the buyers who are seeking your products. Fair Food will market your farm/products through our online Wholesale Guide and in our consultations with buyers.
Fair Food builds capacity and increases economic viability for farmers through consultation, workshops, networking events, and training materials. We assist growers with support to assess and take advantage of new market opportunities.

Fair Food consults on a variety of topics including: communications, pricing, building connections with buyers, appropriate products to grow and more. Beyond this individual consulting, we promote farmers and producers to our growing network of buyers through Buyer Consulting, our online Wholesale Guide to Local Farm Products, and our annual Local Grower Local Buyer event.

Fair Food offers consultations to both members and non-members, helping you source from farmers & producers within a 150 mile radius of Philadelphia. Consultations are $150 and include a one-on-one meeting with Fair Food’s Farm-to-Market Liaison and follow up of materials specific to your personal and business needs.  If you are a member of Fair Food consultation is free as one of your member benefits.

Our ultimate goal is to have you as a member of Fair Food. If, after your consultation, you are able to meet the local sourcing requirements*, and wish to become a member, the cost of your consultation will be applied to the membership fee.

* Membership requirements vary from sector to sector.
