This industry-only event brings local farmers and food producers together with Philadelphia wholesale buyers – chefs, grocers, and food service providers -  to create profitable and lasting business partnerships. Last year, over 300 wholesale buyers attended!

As the region’s largest local food expo, this event brings chefs, caterers, grocers, and food service providers together with local farmers and food producers for an evening of networking and planning for the upcoming season.

Here’s how it works: Growers and producers are given table space to feature their farm/product – samples, price lists, marketing materials, and other information. Buyers circulate around the room, stopping at tables to meet the farmers, learn about their products, enjoy samples and discuss logistics.

Local food variety and availability continues to surge. In addition to the standard fruits and vegetables common to our region, be prepared to see extended season crops and specialty items, a wide variety of value-added specialty products, artisanal cheeses and pasture-raised meats, poultry, dairy and eggs.

This event allows you to connect with a large number of farmers and food producers in one evening, as opposed to placing countless phone calls to research new local products. Whether you are a dedicated local foods buyer or new to this concept, don’t miss this opportunity to connect with local farmers who want to serve the Philadelphia marketplace.

Local Grower Local Buyer is an “industry-only” event and is not open to the general public.
