THE CLASSIC
Cheeses with which you can’t go wrong.  These are your ever-reliable buddies in the cheese world – Brie, Cheddar and classic Blue.

  • A wedge of our classic Norman-style Buttercup Brie from Cherry Grove Farm in Lawrenceville, NJ.
  • A block of certified organic Amish crafted Cheddar from Nittany Valley Organics in Clinton Co., PA.
  • Birchrun Blue, a fudgy-yet-creamy blue from Chester County’s Birchrun Hills.

THE DAIRY DIVINE
If you’re ready to match beers & wines with your cheeses and want something with more depth – try this plate!

  • From Clover Creek Farm’s motley herd of heritage cows in Blair County, PA — a wedge of their wine-washed Uncle Joe’s or Alpine-style Royer Mountain.
  • Keswick Creamery’s Tommes washed in seasonal Troegs beer and/or Adams County Cabernet wine must.
  • Shellbark Hollow’s Sharp Chevre, a pungent pleasure, but creamy enough to please the masses.  The sharp provolone of the soft goat world!

APPLES AND CHEDDAR MAKE IT BETTER

Everyone knows these two are a classic combo and that at the Farmstand, we’ve got the best apples around! From fifth-generation farmer Dave Garretson at Beechwood Orchards, we have the best of the best, including hits like Gold Rush and Pink Lady. Amish Apple Snitz from Kauffman’s help complement and perfect your plate. Starring cheeses include Keswick Creamery’s Lesher and Clover Creek’s Mature Aged Cheddar, cellar-aged just for Fair Food!

FARMSTEAD GONE WILD
This is the plate that will make locavores, Francophiles, and all gourmands squeal on sight. Bon appétit!

Lindendale Farm’s Laughing Lindy, a wonderful little snow white pillow puck of bloomy-rind goat cheese. Smells lightly of cabbage and fresh hay and tastes wonderful, with a lip-smackingly thick interior and gooey, gamey liquid layer under the rind. Spectacular with our Tait Farm sour cherry jam or paired with a Chenin Blanc or one of these Spiced Holiday ales so popular this time of year. Keswick Creamery’s Blue Suede Moo. Blue Suede Moo harkens to an old romance based in 1700s Britain called Stilton. One with soft, sweet notes of chocolate and stout, with a texture between fudge and buttercream icing. Its flavors range from salted peanuts and hazelnuts to sharp peppercorn bursts and toasted brioche undertones. Misty Creek’s Tomme De Ewe, a cave-aged Lancaster specialty with flavors of browned butter and savory browned lamb all at once. A rare raw milk sheep’s cheese. Due to the special, small-batch nature of these cheeses, this cheese plate is only available in
small quantities.

THE CHEESEMONGER’S FAVORITE

Our cheesemongers are smart, opinionated foodies. Let us curate the cheese plate of the moment for your party. We eat this stuff all the time and have our nose to the ground, so to speak, to know what the most exciting cheeses our artisans have brought in on a given week. Please put your cheesy desires in an e-mail to Product Manager Alex Jones and we’ll be happy to set you up.
