Industry Partner Spotlight: Wildflour Bakery

Nishon and Laura Yaghoobian started baking for the city’s restaurants in 2003, so chances are, the burger at your favorite gastropub is served on one of their famous challah rolls. While Wildflour doesn’t have a storefront — the company bakes in a commercial space in northeast Philly — you can purchase their products year-round through farmers’ markets and retailers all over the city.

Aside from baking in Philadelphia, the Yaghoobians make an effort to highlight local, seasonal produce on savory breads like focaccias and in sweet treats: Find local fruit and veggies in their Drunken Apple, Pumpkin, and Sweet Potato pies and Pumpkin Eclairs (a Fair Food staff favorite that’s amazing for Thanksgiving dessert or breakfast on Black Friday).
