Alex is away this week, but she left us with our marching orders and the 'Stand is fully stocked with all the delights of summer. Besides the summer standouts like heirloom tomatoes, corn and peaches, this week we're especially excited about the chanterelle mushrooms that came in this week. Try them out in this delicious chanterelle and leek tart- the Farmstand has everything you need for this recipe. Instead of the gruyere the recipe calls for, be sure to ask for some of Doe Run's Hickory on the Hill at our cheese case- it won't disappoint! These new blue potatoes also have our attention this week- toss them together with our fingerlings and red potatoes to make a colorful and tasty red, white and blue potato salad!
