Farm to City is looking for energetic and passionate volunteers to staff an information table at our biggest market, the Saturday Rittenhouse Farmers’ Market. Volunteers will provide information and resources on vendors, community activities, and Farm to City programs, including: • Answering customer questions about market logistics and vendors. • Providing information on Farm to City programming and sustainable agriculture more broadly. • Communicating suggestions and other feedback from community members to Farm to City staff.
Ideally, we are looking for people who can volunteer regularly or semi-regularly on Saturdays from September 10th to November 19. Volunteers will receive orientation on the market and vendors. Volunteer shifts will be 2 ¼ hours.
